We were selected to design 5 subway stations in one of the southern city of Iran. We focused one of them, Mosalla station; the other four station designs were to be the same with some minor differences. It had a total area of 8000sqm. Everything including pavement arrangements, false ceiling patterns and linier lighting system was designed around the passenger movements and circulation. And also material, color and other spatial qualities helped people to know where they are and the way. To put it simply, the tubular skin of main vertical circulation rises with the same form and material up to the ground level. It seemed like a huge sign to navigate in the complex.
